Country in the Northeast — November 20

This weekend features the arrival of Kip Moore. He’s this year’s CMT on Tour artist and his Up in Smoke Tour with Sam Hunt and Charlie Worsham makes two stops in the Northeast this weekend. First, at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Friday night and then at the Hampton Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire. Both dates are sold out, yet some resale tickets are still available from various outlets.


 

What’s New For November 18

This week is highlighted by new music from Cole Swindell, who released a new EP entitled Down Home Sessions. Jake Owen added four songs, two unreleased, to his previous album Days of Gold making it a deluxe version. Both Kalleigh Bannen and Colt Ford have new singles out. Ford’s “Crank it Up” features Jason Aldean’s drummer Rich Redmond and Bannen’s “Smoke When I Drink” is her next radio single. Finally, Trisha Yearwood’s greatest hits album Prizefighter is available in stores and on GhostTunes this week.

Country in the Northeast — November 14

This weekend features three country shows. Phil Vassar performs tonight, Friday, at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford, Mass. The show begins at 8 and tickets for the event can be found here. Country fans have two options for live country music on Saturday. Martina McBride will bring her Everlasting Tour to the Lynn Auditorium, tickets still available here. The weekend is highlighted by Dierks Bentley’s Riser Tour. He brings along Randy Houser and Eric Paslay for what should be a rockin’ night of country music at Mohegan Sun. There are still some seats available from the venue which can be purchased here.


 

What’s New For November 11

This week is highlighted by the return of Garth Brooks. His new album Man Against Machine is available for download on Ghost Tunes and can also be purchased in stores. Additionally Zac Brown Band released their first greatest hits album which includes their 14 biggest hits to date. George Strait released the deluxe version of The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium which includes bonus footage from the concert. Finally, Big & Rich released their Greatest hits album which includes a variety of songs throughout their career.
