The College Football Playoff National Championship game between Ohio State and Oregon takes place on Monday January 12, but tomorrow night some of country’s biggest stars will take center stage in Dallas. CMT has partnered with the playoff to put together a ninety minute show from AT&T Stadium that will be broadcasted tomorrow night at 9/8 central on CMT. It’s rare that we, as fans, get to see many of country’s biggest stars on the same stage at this time of year, but that will be the case. Here’s the complete list of performers for the event:
Lady Antebellum will be headlining the Wheels Up Tour this summer and they’ll bring two of the most talented young artists in country music with them. Hunter Hayes grabs the second slot on the tour, while Sam Hunt will kick things off each night. This will be Hunt’s first gig on a major amphitheater tour. As for Hayes he takes this opportunity to move away from the headlining spot and offer his fans a shorter, more specified set. The tour will stop twice in the Northeast, first at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA and then later in the summer at the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, CT. Both events will be a part of each venue’s Megaticket which will begin being sold the week of January 26.
The tour will run from May 1 until the middle of September and make its way across the United States and much of Canada. Complete tour dates here.

Lady Antebellum released the video for their current single “Freestyle” today. The song has a different sound then many of the other recent Lady A releases. Charles Kelly’s voice is more prominent than it has been in quite some time, as Hillary Scott provides the harmonies creating their signature sound. It’s not just the sound that’s different for a group that got famous through sticking to some serious country vibes. “Cherry classic Coke can, rolling on the floorboard, Fleetwood Macklemore comin’ out the speakers,” sings Kelly and Scott. A line that you would have never thought you’d hear out of the group that brought you “American Honey” and “Need You Know”. However, again they’re proven their ability to adapt.
The highly decorated trio announced they would be taking their live show overseas again in the Spring. The seven time Grammy winners headlined a World Tour to support their Own The Night album in 2012, but have not been overseas since. The group will head to Dublin and London among others as well as three dates in Australia to support their new release 747 in March 2015.
It is expected that they will tour again in the United States during 2015 as well. The group which played over 50 dates in the States this year will likely head back out during the summer of 2015 to further support 747.
