It’s a slow week in country as Carrie Underwood’s Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album is the only new release. The two disc compilation features her biggest hits as well as two new songs, the Grammy nominated “Something in the Water” and the power ballad “Like Toy Guns.” Additionally, Blake Shelton’s most recent release Bringing Back the Sunshine is now available in video format on iTunes. It features all twelve songs in video format.
This week is highlighted by new music from Cole Swindell, who released a new EP entitled Down Home Sessions. Jake Owen added four songs, two unreleased, to his previous album Days of Gold making it a deluxe version. Both Kalleigh Bannen and Colt Ford have new singles out. Ford’s “Crank it Up” features Jason Aldean’s drummer Rich Redmond and Bannen’s “Smoke When I Drink” is her next radio single. Finally, Trisha Yearwood’s greatest hits album Prizefighter is available in stores and on GhostTunes this week.
