Dierks Bentley’s Riser Tour Preview

Dierks Bentley brings his Riser Tour to Mohegan Sun Arena tonight for what should be a great night of country music. Randy Houser is a little bit under the weather, but hopefully he’ll be able to go. If not expect a longer set from rising country star Eric Paslay to make up for the lost time. The show is expected to shortly after 7:15 and finish up right around 11:15. Here’s what to expect from each performer:

Eric Paslay

Rising country music star Eric Paslay will be the first to take the stage. Before you heard his first single “Friday Night” on your radio you were already listening to songs penned by Paslay. Number one hits such as “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”, “Even if it Break Your Heart”, and “Angel Eyes” were all written by Paslay. However, with the success of his debut single “Friday Night” it became clear that Paslay was going to leave the life of songwriting behind for recording. His debut album features eleven songs including his current single “Song About a Girl”. A tune that is certainly to be one of the highlights of the night. Known as a strong vocalist and a solid performer Eric Paslay is sure to put on a performance that locals will be talking about for years to come.

Randy Houser

Randy Houser has been sitting in the number two spot for much of the year. First as a member of Brad Paisley’s Country Nation Tour and now as a member of Bentley’s Riser Tour. This experience has allowed Houser to perfect a forty minute set. While not ideal for any performer Houser has been able to pinpoint the songs that his fans want to see. Expect Houser to perform all of his biggest hits and have the crowd ready to go for headliner Dierks Bentley.

Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley is sure to provide the energy needd to make this a show you’ll never forget. While headlining this tour in the spring, Bentley has received out of this world reviews. Modeling his stage presence after last years  Kenny Chesney, Bentley keeps the energy high both on stage and in the crowd. Part of that can be contributed to Bentley and his band, but don’t underestimate the importance of a setlist. Bentley plays high energy, sing-a-long friendly songs for much of the show. Something that is sure to be popular with a crowd that is always ready to break out into song.
