Florida Georgia Line To Headline Worldwide in 2015

Anything GoesUpdate (1/15): Florida Georgia Line announced the second leg of their Anything Goes Tour on January 15th. The duo will hit an additional 29 cities throughout the summer and into the early fall. They’ll bring Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard along for the entirety of the tour.

The most popular duo in music and the most popular act in country music has some big news. Florida Georgia Line has made doing it big their motto and that’s just the case in 2015. The duo will be embarking on a World Tour! The duo announced the first leg of their Anything Goes Tour earlier this week that included the US dates and the world tour dates are expected soon.

Florida Georgia Line has never headlined a venue that seats more than 15,000 people, but that hasn’t stopped them from making this decision. The wildly popular group announced last week that they would be headlining their own tour in 2015, to little surprise. But the news that the tour would be worldwide, has caught some off guard. This past year, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, and Toby Keith were the only acts to take their tours over seas. You can add FGL to that list next year. The tour, which will support their sophomore album, is likely to be big. The group finishes up with Jason Aldean on the Burn It Down Tour on October 25th and then has a few select dates to finish out the year. That gives them plenty of time to gear up for their major tour which kicks off in Toledo, OH on January 15 and wraps up on May 8 in Atlantic City, NJ.

Florida Georgia Line will bring their Anything Goes Tour to the Northeast three times: February 18 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchsester NH, February 22 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, and May 7 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI. The first leg of the tour will feature Frankie Ballard and Thomas Rhett as opening acts. They’ll come back to the northeast in September when the tour stops at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA on September 11 and then the Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, CT the following night.
